Combat Archer 2019 - VUL 2

Because of the limited airspace and ramp space at S52, VUL 2 will be accomplished in 2 Flights. Flight 1 will be the C130 and C160 ACFT and Flight 2 will be the C17 and A400M ACFT. All crews need to claim a mission based on the ACFT flying in the VUL section of the vUSAF Events Page.



Mission Scenario: Intelligence has reported that Bluestein forces are building up on the Southwest border of Bluestein and showing a posture for possible invasion into Istojazzstan. Mobility Guardian crews are to airlift Spec Forces and members of the 10th Mountain Division from KSKA to S52 to provide a defensive front in the case Bluestein decides to do something stupid……



Mission Objective: Airlift Spec Forces and 10th Mountain Division infantry to S52



Required programs: JoinFS and Airdrop and Target Beta installed (FSX 32 bit and P3D 64 bit).



Briefing Time: 1900Z. NOTE: All Flight Crews are to be on JoinFS, have your load and fuel plan completed, Vpilot open and flight plan filed with VATSIM/ATC and pre-flight checklist accomplished prior to the mission briefing. Immediately after the mission brief crews will start engines and prepare for taxi.



DPRT Base: KSKA



DPRT Time: Flight 1 sorties: 2000Z (Simulator time will be 1600Z / 0800 Pacific) Flight 2 sorties will be advised by the Warlord when to prepare for takeoff.



Flt Alt KSKA to MOA entrance: FL 100



Flt Alt inside MOA to S52: FL 110. This is a HARD altitude. No deviation allowed



Cruise SPD: Outside the MOA, IAS 250

Inside the MOAs, IAS 300 to 310, or best SPD for your ACFT. SPD restrictions are waived in the MOAs.



ARRV Base: S52



TOT: Will be addressed in the mission briefing. Each TOT will be different for the particular mission and what Flight you are in.



RTNing to KSKA: This will be the time you could encounter aggressor ACFT. Please ensure you are familiar with the ROE…..



Cruise Alt on the RTN to KSKA: FL 085. This will allow 1500 feet separation from ACFT enroute to S52. This is a HARD altitude. No deviation unless engaged by enemy ACFT



Flight 1 Sorties, C130 and C160 ACFT: Airlifting Spec Fore Teams to S52. Crews will do a multi-ship DPRT from KSKA and fly in formation to S52. On ARRV at S52 crews will accomplish tactical descents, approaches and landings into S52. VUL team leader will advise the VUL Warlord that descent into S52 is underway. You will accomplish an ERO (Engine Running Off-load). Your ground time will be NO LONGER than 15 minutes after the last ACFT has landed. This will give you time to load and file RTN flight plan to KSKA and accomplish a multi-ship DPRT from S52. You will accomplish a tactical takeoff and DPRT.



TOT: 2045Z (Simulator time: 1645Z / 0845 Pacific)



TOD: 15 Min after last ACFT lands.



NOTE: Flight 1 VUL leader will notify the VUL Warlord that your crews are preparing for taxi and DPRT so the Warlord can get the Flight 2 ACFT of the ground at KSKA.



Flight 2 Sorties, C17 and A400M ACFT: Airlifting, Airdropping and accomplishing EROs with infantrymen of the 10th Mountain Division at S52.



The vRAF C17 crews: You will be accomplishing the ERO at S52. You will also be the first C17s to DPRT KSKA. On ARRV at S52 you will accomplish tactical descents, approaches and landings into S52. You will park at the designated C17 parking, off-Load your load. When the other ACFT, C17 and A400M, have completed their airdrops you DPRT immediately. You will need to have your RTN flight plan filed and be prepared to taxi and accomplish a tactical takeoff. When the last ACFT has completed their airdrop you guys GO……..



Other VSO, C17 and A400M Crews: You will DPRT KSKA behind the vRAF crews. You will be airdropping 10th Mountain Division Infantrymen on the designated DZ at coordinates: N48.24.76 W120.10.32. This DZ is locate southwest of S52. Refer to the S52 DZ chart in the Mobility Guardian Mission Briefing. After completing the airdrops RTB back to KSKA.



TOT: 45 minutes from the time of DPRT from KSKA.
