SUBJECT: Appointment of AETC Operations Officer (AETC/OPS)

1. I am pleased to announce the selection of vCol Don Price as the Air Education and Training Command Operations Officer (AETC/OPS). This newly established position represents a critical leadership role within AETC and the broader vUSAF enterprise.
2. In this capacity, vCol Price will serve as the principal staff officer to the AETC Commander (AETC/CC) for all matters pertaining to training operations and pipeline execution. He is responsible for the planning, coordination, execution, and oversight of all AETC training programs, ensuring standardization, efficiency, and compliance with vUSAF directives and VATSIM VSOA requirements.
3. Primary duties and responsibilities include:
   • Oversee daily operations of all AETC training pipelines
   • Ensure standardization across all training programs
   • Monitor student progression and completion rates
   • Supervise instructors and training officers
   • Ensure compliance with VATSIM VSOA and vUSAF requirements
   • Develop and refine training syllabi
   • Provide mentorship and foster leadership development across AETC
   • Work in close coordination with the AETC/CC to execute command priorities
4. vCol Price is assigned the designation A4001. He is a longtime vUSAF member and active pilot. His leadership, operational expertise, and commitment to training excellence make him exceptionally qualified for this position.
